Al Davis Needs to Go Away
The Raiders would be alot better off if Al Davis was "retired".
He keeps injecting his old school football into a modern day game. Lane Kiffin lost games but his team rallied around him and played tough. Maybe they are just not there yet. I mean he must know something. USC 2005?
Also, it looks like Al is inventing reasons to not pay Kiffin. I mean he's been talking about firing Kiffin for three weeks in the hopes that Kiffin would resign, thus saving the remaining $4 mil on his two year contract.
But Lane didn't resign so it's obvious that Al is making up reasons why he doesn't have to pay.
Al, if you really loved the Raiders... retire or something and leave the team to people that have real ideas and can actually improve the team. I hop Kiffin can pull a Mike Shanahan and win a superbowl with another team. Maybe Kansas City.
