Utah is Ahead of PSU and Texas Tech in the BCS? Huh?
The BCS rankings came out today for week 13 here are a few facts: - Penn State beat Michigan 46-17; a 29 point margin of victory. - Penn State beat Oregon State 45-14; a 31 point margin of victory. - Texas Tech beat Texas 39-33 and Oklahoma State 56-20. - Ohio State beat Michigan 42-7; a 35 point margin of victory. - Ohio State only lost to Penn State and USC. - Utah beat Michigan 25-23; a 2 point margin of victory. - Utah beat Oregon State 31-28; a 3 point margin of victory.
To have Utah ahead of PSU, Texas Tech and Ohio State is a joke and shows the BCS is inaccurate.
In the Coaches poll at least PSU and TT are ahead of Utah and Boise State, but Ohio State is 10th. Ohio State would beat either of those teams especially the way Terrelle Pryor is playing now. So would Missouri and Oklahoma State for that matter. I would like to see either Utah or Boise State play Texas Tech, Ohio State, Missouri or Oklahoma State in a bowl. Then we can see how these conferences compare. There is a huge difference between the Mountain West or the WAC and the Big 10 and the Big 12. I like Boise State and Utah. I watched a few of their games this year and they are exciting within their own conferences, but outside of that they will be handled.
