Emmitt Smith Prediction on Best NFL Playoff Prepared Team

Emmitt Smith was asked on his All 22 segment on ESPN on Sunday of the four best teams in the NFL, (Steelers, Titans, Giants and Panthers) which team had the best shot of going deep into the playoffs. Emmet said the Panthers.

Panthers Of those 4 teams, my impression is that the Panthers are the weakest team. Of the good teams they played (Bucs and Falcons) they lost to both of them. Of the average teams they played (Bears, Vikings, Saints, Packers, Cards, Broncos) they lost to the Vikings) And then they get to play the Chiefs, Raiders and Lions. A great test will be the Giants in Week 16. Can't wait.

Titans Of the good teams they played (Ravens, Colts and Jets) they lost to the Jets. Of the average teams they played (Texans, Vikings, Packers, Bears, Jaguars and Browns) they lost to the Texans. And then they get to play the Bengals, Chiefs and Lions. Their great test will be Week 16 against the Steelers. Also can't wait.

Steelers Of the good teams they played (Eagles, Ravens, Giants, Colts, Patriots and Cowboys) they lost to the Eagles, Giants and Colts. Of the average teams they played (Browns, Jaguars, Redskins and  Chargers) they beat them all. And then they get to play the Bengals. Big test as noted above... Titans.

Giants Of the good teams they played (Steelers, Cowboys, Eagles, Ravens) they lost to the Eagles and Cowboys. Of the Average teams they played (Niners, Cards, Redskins, Browns) they beat them all. And then they get to play the Rams, Bengals and Seahawks. Big test as noted above... Panthers.

To summarize: Look at the good teams that each team played. These are the teams that make you better. The weak teams make you healthier. Panthers: Bucs and Falcons Titans: Ravens, Colts and Jets Steelers: Eagles, Ravens, Giants, Colts, Patriots and Cowboys Giants: Steelers, Cowboys, Eagles, Ravens

I think its between the Steelers and Giants with a close Titans right behind.
