Football Block Pools - What Are The Lucky Numbers?
Usually around the playoffs and definitely for the SuperBowl, someone in the office breaks out a block pool. So I got to thinking, what are the most common football scores? I took the results data from this season and sorted everything into two tables; one sorted by score and the other sorted by probability. A block pool is played by taking the ones column of each team's score and applying those numbers to a 10 x 10 grid featuring all possibilities of scores. For instance if the game ended 14-10 the person associated with the block at the intersection of 4 and 0 would be the winner.

Basically if you have a 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, or a 2, you're just going to contribute. If you have a 0, 1, 3 or 4 you're in the 81.5% range. Good Luck.
