NFL Draft - Who Needs What?
The NFL draft is coming up in April and already there are many signings and player moves going on. The Broncos for instance, picked up two running backs and some defenders, The Jets picked up defenders, the Ravens lost defenders and so on.
I would like to go into the NFL draft with at least some idea of what each team should be looking for in players.
Weak offensive teams with good defenses like the Browns and the Bengals, should probably be looking to strengthen their offense.
Offensive powerhouses with poor defenses like the Chargers and Falcons should be getting defensive players in the first few rounds.
I took a look at each team in the NFL and sorted them based on 4 criteria; Passer rating, Rusher rating, Passer Defense rating and Rusher Defense rating.
I'm using this criteria to sort and compare each team against the other teams in the league and see Who Needs What.
Take a look at the chart below and lets see how each team drafts based on these needs.
Yellow means the team is worse than the NFL average and Blue means it is better.
