Major League Police Overeaction
Phillies vs the Cardinals on May 3rd. A 17 year old high school student, class clown, going to Penn State, plays on the baseball team, says he’s going to run the field.
And actually does it. Crowd loves it. The cops cant catch him so they Taze him. Huh?
Total overreaction. Why subject the cops to more humiliation when they can just shoot someone and end it?
In perfect Philly fashion, 44,817 got to see it, the fans cheered the kid and booed the cops.
Now another copycat just ran the field. This time its much worse. Cole Hamels was in mid-windup in the 9th going for a 1-0 win. Gotta be a fan first people.
