NFL Team Rushing Rankings - Season 45
I assembled the NFL team rushing rankings using my Running Back rating system (see earlier posts). I based the team ranking on the two running backs or rushers getting the most carries. Typically these are running backs but in the case of the Eagles it was LeSean McCoy and Michael Vick.
Some interesting notes: the Patriots may have the best ranking but they dont run as much as the Giants so they didn't get as much advantage. The Steelers (11 ) and the Packers (27) are separated by 10 points (12%). The Colts are ranked last in the league. Just making the playoffs is quite a testament to Payton Manning and the passing game.
